Volunteer at GLOW and be in the center of the best fire and digital art in the Santa Cruz County area. GLOW is a festival of fire and light. It's like a little bit of Burning Man came to Downtown Santa Cruz. As a volunteer, you'll explore an open street filled with fire dancing and art, get up close with performances and music in Abbott Square, and go hands-on in the electrified museum with interactive digital art, projections, and LED sculptures.  From setting up the street festival area or flexing your photography muscles, to assisting fire artists or leading your own art activity, there's a volunteer opportunity for everyone. No experience necessary, we'll make sure you have everything you need to have a great volunteer experience. Click 'Register' to see all the volunteer opportunities and time slots. Please note that this opportunity includes event specific training. All volunteers are required to attend a dynamic a GLOW orientation on Tuesday, October 16th from 6 - 7:30 pm. You'll meet other volunteers, learn everything you need to know to have a successful event, and hear more about the exciting things that will be happening all night.
