Structural Query Language (SQL) is a highly-demanded database programming language used by data analysts, data scientists, marketers, managers and anyone else who uses data to make informed business choices. You will gain the foundational tools needed to make data-driven business decisions, and walk away knowing how to segment, query, and retrieve data in SQL. This hands-on SQL workshop from Northeastern University's Level Bootcamp will expose you to foundational concepts related to how businesses store and access structured data. Over the course of one day, you will: Use MySQL to answer business questions Learn how relational databases are designed and implemented Work with MySQL databases to access and query data There are no prerequisites, but we recommend you come with a basic understanding of Excel, stats, and/or charts. Please be sure to bring your laptop. SQL downloads will be sent to participants prior to the workshop.
